Every real estate office needs to have a policies and procedures manual covering the activities of the business.
This is not only good business sense and “best practice,” it gives the staff specific guidelines as to what their job roles entail so they follow your directives that are documented, not instructions that are verbal and can be misunderstood, forgotten or ignored. All employees should receive a copy of the Manual when they commence with an office, and it should be referenced in their employment contract.
